Calling all Animal Lovers!
The Animals Observatory Fall/Winter 2020 collection designed by Laia Aguilar is a love story with pop iconography, from David Hockney to Jarvis Cocker, with a touch of Bruno Munari´s geometrical aesthetic.
Bold outlines, colors clashing in the best way… purples with greens, reds with blues. A combination of structured, oversized silhouettes that are comfortable, statement making, and as always, wearable - TAO
It's so rare that a designer comes along and satisfies the playfully cool aesthetic of mini fashionistas and their parents alike while also appealing to the masses who usually don't "go there". Who doesn't want a an intarsia moon on their yellow sweater or two different color socks, a wool bucket hat in mint green and a retro football jersey reminiscent of one wore by Kevin Kline in the football scene of The Big Chill? You can combine complete looks head to toe with accessories or simply insert one or two pieces into their wardrobe for an instant pick me up, both fresh and comfortable. Aguilar has designed instantly recognizable pieces that can be worn day in, day out.
The Animals Observatory is designed and manufactured in Portugal using sustainable materials and is now available in unisex sizes 2-12 years online and in our Sag Harbor shop.
