It's all about Max !
Hope you're all sheltering in place with your families in peace and good heath!
I wanted to share a recent article on the shop from Italy's own Scimparello Magazine Issue No 4. When the founder and creative director, Petra Barkoff, asked to do a story on us featuring this season's most powerful trend, animal prints, I was of course willing and able. We have so many adorable animal prints to chose from after all from designers Bobo Choses, Mini Rodini, Molo, and Tiny Cottons. But then when she asked me to send in photos and 10 Fun Facts about our FAVORITE ANIMAL on the planet, our beloved Max. Fine.
If you've been to visit us at North 3rd St Market in Williamsburg Brooklyn or the Share With space in Montauk, then you know. Max is LOVED by everyone. Max spreads LOVE to everyone. And believe me she FEELS this isolation and misses her people. She possesses the qualities that we all should strive for in this lifetime (a bit like a Buddah): she is patient, peaceful, loving, intelligent, deliberate, and confidant. As Katie Kendrick wrote, "Max has a presence a little like a star..."
Here's to you Max! We feel so blessed to have you in our lives especially at a time like this.
